You are not alone
Most parents who call us start the same way: “I'm probably overreacting, but…”
You're not overreacting. Noticing something early is one of the most helpful things a parent can do — and asking a question costs nothing. There is no wrong reason to call, and no judgment when you do.
Common concerns
What parents tell us they're noticing
“She has fewer words than her cousins.”
Late talking is one of the most common reasons families call us — and one of the most responsive to early support.
“Only I can understand him.”
When sounds are left off or swapped, other people stop understanding. Children notice that, and it can chip away at confidence.
“He gets frustrated and gives up.”
Big feelings often sit on top of communication trouble. Therapy works on both the words and the confidence to use them.
“Her teacher mentioned something.”
A comment from a teacher or pediatrician can be unsettling. It's also a perfectly good reason to get a clear answer.
What we do
Pediatric speech therapy, one child at a time.
Our focus is narrow on purpose: children's speech and language. Every session is one-on-one with a therapist who knows your child.
- Speech evaluations
- A structured, play-based look at how your child understands and uses language, so you get clarity instead of guesswork.
- One-on-one speech therapy
- Individual sessions focused on the sounds, words, and skills your child needs next — with practical carryover for home.

What your first visit feels like
Three simple steps. No paperwork maze.
- 01
A phone call, not a commitment
Call us and tell us what you're noticing. We'll talk through your concerns, answer insurance questions, and find a time that fits your week.
- 02
A speech evaluation
Your child plays and talks with a therapist while we listen closely. You stay involved throughout, and you'll leave understanding what we saw and why.
- 03
One-on-one therapy, if it's needed
If therapy makes sense, we start with individual sessions built around your child's interests — and simple things you can carry into everyday life at home.

Insurance & payment
Let's take cost off the worry list.
We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, Alabama Medicaid, and private pay. If you're unsure what your plan covers, call us — we'd rather answer that question than have it keep you waiting.
